Increase Pay for Law Enforcement
(and all County Employees)
Due to the compounding, budgetary restraints over the past several years the county employees, including its Sheriff and have not received pay raises, c.o.l.a or any other since 2014, this has severely hurt morale and lead to under-staffing issues. Resulting in a ranking of #1 in property crime, and #3 in property crime in the state. In this increasingly elevating unsafe environment, it’s going to require swift intervention from both a suppression and prevention standpoint.
